Bristol Festival of Photography
Bristol Festival of Photography invites exhibition submissions
The third Bristol Festival of Photography, which will run from 01 to 31 May, is now open for registration.
Self-funding and run by volunteers, the first Bristol Festival of Photography took place over three weeks during the summer of 2010, several months after local galleries and interested parties were first approached. It takes the form of a series of independent exhibitions over multiple sites and is accessible and open to all.

Outdoor Photography’s intriguing balance of features, tests, techniques, travel and environmental stories make it the most relevant magazine in the changing world of film and pixels. Each issue features an inspiring array of landscape, wildlife and travel features, with regular contributions by Britain’s leading photographers, tests of digital and film equipment by photographers for photographers and a detailed listing of digital and 35mm SLR cameras.

WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Arts Council and Wilton Library are set to present Focus '14 to honor photographers with work in the current exhibit.
The photography exhibition and reception is set to start at 6 p.m. Friday, March 14 at the Wilton Library. The evening includes an awards ceremony honoring all of the photographers who submitted entries in the exhibition. The exhibition is on display across the library through March 29.
"Focus '14 is a regional photography exhibit organized by the Wilton Arts Council to promote public involvement in the arts," representatives said.
The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. Photographs are available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the library.
